The Redwoods

Dr. John H. Fullerton provide medical care to the Personal Care Unit (PCU) and Assisted Living residents within The Redwoods Retirement Community (Independent & Assisted Living) in Mill Valley, CA.


In addition, Dr. Fullerton serves as the Certified Medical Director for the one hundred (100) bed Redwoods Health Care Center (SNF) on the same property.

The Redwoods is a nationally recognized model for retirement living and is commended for its programs, campus, and interaction between volunteers, staff and residents by the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA).


Dr. Fullerton has provided medical care to senior retirement communities for more than a decade.


He is Board Certified as a Medical Director as well as Hospice Medical Director and sits on the Board of Directors of AMDA the CA Chapter of The American Medical Directors Assoc., through the California Association of Long-Term Care Medicine (CALTCM).

On behalf of AMDA, Dr. Fullerton serves as the Chair of Public Policy for the State of California and took office as President-Elect for the CA Chapter in May 2014, after serving the previous two-year term as Vice-President Elect.
